TIME TO LIVE - Peter and the crew ROSE ISLAND

We anchored at Rose Island. Browsing went well but we must admit it was very sporty.

The winds were around 20 knots and halfway Nassau there were peaks up 30noeuds. The waves were about 2 to 4 feet with a few that were up to 6 feet. They were about 5 seconds.

The wind and waves were ENE and we had wrong. We have therefore taken an average speed of 6.5 knots sailing up to 7 knots. Two reefing points in the mainsail and the genoa rolled out to 110%.

So we made the journey of 55 nautical miles quickly. Eric Annie and Rose Island are but tonight we will rest our sports day.
