VACATIONS NETWORK WEDNESDAY MORNING
IV: Robert and family are at 140 minutes from their destination Rodney Bay (St. Lucia) from Cape Verde. They are at sea for 14.5 days and are anxious to arrive ... Position: 14-34 N and 58-45 W. Currently they are sailing with winds under 15 knots under a bright sun and their speed is quite impressive - around 7.5 knots. They plan to arrive tomorrow morning and will be welcomed by some of our friends who are on site.
OCEANS 1: Luke and Aline are shipping since the Bay of Samana (DR) and are 5 minutes from their destination Mayaguez (Puerto Rico). Beautiful night of sailing under a clear sky - only a few minutes of rain during passage of a cloud. Very happy and everything is fine.
SEA KITE: Brigitte and Michael welcomed their friends and crossed the Salt River (Guadeloupe) last night. They were anchored at the network and preparing to hoist the sails. Will travel to Deshaies and then along the west coast of Guadeloupe before crossing to Dominica and Martinique.
ABSAROQUE Denise came to us and say hello. They are in Martinique today and head to Fort de France.
Quado: Jean-Pierre is in navigation on the coast of the Dominican Republic. They left Rio San Juan, will make a stop before heading into tomorrow Samana Bay then lead eventually to Puerto Rico.
NAMAR: Marcel and Nancy are still in Mayaguana for the day. Highly appreciate this place but will raise the anchor to continue their voyage tomorrow morning. Very nice weather - sunshine
UKULU: Guy and the little family arrived in Ponce (Puerto Rico) to momenet Network. Beautiful sailing to get there. They reach among our friends in Quebec who are already there ...
NEPTEAU: ALDE Antigua and Guylaine are with Jean and Jacinthe the sailboat Oceane 2. Waiting for their friends on weekends and provide navigation to Barbuda thereafter.
LADY UNICORN Marc Anthony and Lucy are in Rodney Bay. Last treatment at the dentist on Friday and will resume their voyage. A stupid accident happened to the master of the unexpected. Pierre has lost two fingers in the belt of the generator. Received good care in St. Lucia but is still in shock. Fortunately, the friends around him encouraged him ...
The ALBATROS: Christine and Louis are in Ponce in the company of Sweet Madame Blue and Prana. At the time of the Network Christine mentioned qu'UKULU maneuver was anchoring near them. A nice 5-7 will surely all these people to meet. Many discoveries since they are in Puerto Rico and they take full advantage. Yesterday navigation rather sports from Gilligan's Island in Ponce told me Christine.
PEARL WATER: Marcel Ste-Anne, Martinique. Marin will visit today and then go to Grande Anse d'Arlet the coming days.
MARY MAGDALENE: Danielle and Greg are in the San Blas along with Moana and Alegria. The beautiful time together devoted to fishing, snorkeling and swimming.
NIKAN: Jean-Pierre and Dana are on the coast of Peru, 280 on the north coast of Chile. We were very happy to talk with J. Peter is mn at 3900 Montreal - excellent spread. They have beautiful sailing conditions but contain a lack of wind for the next 2 weeks. They were familiar with Peru to have visited some 20 years ago and are really surprised at all the changes since then - both in economy and security.
FALCO: Peter and the family left Georgetown (Bahamas) and are now in Calabash, Long Island. Their intentions are to go to Rum Cay, and then navigate Eulethera Islands, the Abacos and probably leave the boat in South Carolina before returning to Quebec in late May and allow children to spend their final examinations of year. Here requires a lot of discipline for classes on board ... water is inviting! ! ! During their voyage yesterday, Peter has caught a swordfish over 2 meters ... failed to get on board because he dropped out prior to arrival - Pierre mentioned, however, do not be disappointed with the loss of this huge fish ... what to do with such a decision?? but had a lot of fun.
